About the artist

My name is Morten Lykke, born in 1972. I am a Danish, contemporary, self taught artist. Originally from the northern part of the country, but now resides in the beautiful southern part of the island of Fyn.

I discovered my love and talent for painting, while sick with stress and found comfort and peace in my art.

I find my inspiration through travelling, nature and the ocean. My style of work is spontaneus, but well thought through and i will let my instinct and impulses control in which direction a painting i headed. I paint abstract paintings and i like the chaotic and colorful impressions.
